Dirty Rotten Slut Party at Kanya - 25th Jul 2007
DIRTY ROTTEN DJ's are the duo behind this slut-fest – an irregular 'happening' for a predominantly worker-crowd from San Antonio. The theme is slutty couldn't-care-less style, with his particular one – an afternoon event at Kanya - requested the wearing of Speedo's for men, though left the girls more leeway for fashion creativity of an infinitely more sexy style. |

Lovedough at Es Paradis - 19th Jul 2007
LOVEDOUGH are new to the island this year, taking over the slot at Es Paradis vacated by Twice As Nice after years (though Twice only moved 5 metres to adjacent Eden). It's a pity that the two events have gone directly head to head on Thursdays, splitting the 'urban'/R&B crowd, but Lovedough have made a decent fight of it, with top guests like Fatman Scoop. |

Metropolis at Kanya with DJ Hype - 18th Jul 2007
METROPOLIS is a new drum & bass event for Ibiza , bringing in huge artists like Pendulum, Grooverider and Goldie throughout the season. This opening at the interior all-night Kanya venue offered DJ Hype, supported by Dirty Rotten DJ's who opened up with some initial Old Skool. Absolutely manic. |

Kissdafunk - 17th Jul 2007
KISSDAFUNK, the Leeds-based promotion, moved from Kanya, where they debuted in Ibiza last year, to El Divino and took the switch in their stride, attracting a huge following who clearly love the sexy, fluid club groove as much as the guys love those sexy four-inch skirts on the numerous Kissdafunk dancing girls. |

Jose Padilla at Atzaro Bar - 17th Jul 2007
JOSE PADILLA (a DJ and tastemaker)chose the ultra-glamorous setting of Atzaro in the north of the island for his first Ibiza DJ residency since the 90's. The theme is centred around cool rhythmic Brazilian sounds, both retrospective and contemporary, accompanied by Carnival-esque dancers, huge projected images and the lush, opulent, vast hotel garden setting. |

Pukka-up at Es Paradis - 16th Jul 2007
PUKKA UP are becoming veterans of the Ibiza scene after four seasons here, though their initial entry to the island was as a weekly sunset BOAT PARTY, rather than a club. Those events have been retained, and indeed have expanded to multiple boats on the night, such is demand, but the main event now takes place at Es Paradis, and is becoming increasingly popular. |

Match Bar Opening Party - 1st Jun 2007
MATCH BAR IBIZA is the new island outpost of the stylish London Match bar group, which also includes the Milk & Honey members bar in Soho, plus Sosho in Hoxton (Time Out bar of the year 2001). Standards are high, both in quality of drink and decor, with an eclectic seating collection out on the large port terrace, including comfy Chesterfields. |
